Party Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen cubed or shredded potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    8 oz. grated cheese
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. corn flakes or cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Put thawed potatoes on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix remaining ingredients, except corn flakes, and pour over potatoes. Crumble corn flakes or crackers over top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
