Vonie'S Rhubarb Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. oil
    1 egg
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. diced rhubarb
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and
    oil.
    Beat in egg. Add flour, soda and salt alternately with
    milk
    until
    blended.
    Stir in rhubarb, vanilla and nuts.
    Turn
    into
    2 greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pans. Sprinkle top with
    sugar
    and
    cinnamon mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 35 minutes.
