Beet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 can sliced beets
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 large onions
Preparation
    Mix oil, sugar and vinegar.
    Slice onions; add beets.
    Pour oil mixture over beets.
    Store in a covered container in refrigerator.
    Will keep for days.
