1/3 c. uncooked regular rice (not instant)
3 c. milk
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 c. seedless raisins
Preparation

Combine
the
first
4 ingredients in a greased shallow baking dish.
Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake (uncovered) in a slow oven at about 275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 for about 2 hours. Stir occasionally
during first
hour
of
baking.
Add
raisins
and finish baking, stirring in brown crust as it forms on top.
