Chili Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. pink or pinto beans
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. bacon, diced
    1 tsp. or more chili powder
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    3 onions, chopped
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    3 cloves garlic
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight or cover with hot water and soak for 2 hours.
    Bring to boil and then add the bacon, brown sugar, thyme, half of the chopped onions and garlic.
    Simmer until beans are tender.
