Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 stick melted butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. self-rising flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. chopped dates
1 qt. chopped pecans

Preparation

Mix butter, sugar and flour.
Add eggs, vanilla, dates and nuts.
Pack in loaf pan.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for approximately 2 hours.
