Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg
    1 stick melted butter
    2 1/2 c. buttermilk
    Crisco
Preparation
    Moderately grease large cast-iron skillet.
    Measure cornmeal, flour and sugar into large bowl.
    Beat egg with fork (using small circular motion).
    Add to cornmeal mixture.
    Add buttermilk.
    Beat mixture with a spoon.
    Add melted butter.
    Stir.
    Pour into pan. Cook at 450\u00b0 to 475\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until brown.
