Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 small yellow squash
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 egg
    1/2 to 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    butter
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
    Wash and dice squash.
    Cook in 1-inch of water with Worcestershire or soy sauce.
    Cook at medium-high heat until almost done (about 10 to 15 minutes). Drain well.
    Mix in onion, mayonnaise, egg and cheese.
    Stir to mix together and pour into square 8 x 8 or 9 x 9-inch baking dish. Lay pads of butter onto top, then top with breadcrumbs.
    Bake 40 minutes.
