Cheddar Batter Bread - cooking recipe

1 Tbsp. cornmeal
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 pkg. quick rising active dry yeast
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. cornmeal
Preparation

Bake in a greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan sprinkled with the 1 tablespoon cornmeal.
