Walnut Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    20 buttery round crackers, crushed fine (Ritz)
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 container whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until slightly stiff. Add sugar, vanilla, baking powder, Ritz crackers and walnuts. Mix well and pour in greased 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350\u00b0 for exactly 25 minutes. Allow pie to cool to room temperature, then cover with Cool Whip. Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
