Fruit And Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shells
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    8 oz. cream cheese
    2 c. powdered sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    3 Tbsp. jello (peach or strawberry)
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 c. sliced, fresh fruit (peaches or strawberries)
Preparation
    Prick pastry shells with fork.
    Sprinkle pecans in bottom of shells and bake at 425\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip together.
    Spread half of this mixture over the bottom of each cooled pie shell.
