Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. softened butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In large mixer bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy.
Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown. Makes about 5 dozen (2 1/2-inch) cookies.
