Oriental Asparagus Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. asparagus, trimmed and cut diagonally in 1 1/2-inch pieces*
salt
water
1 (16 oz.) can bean sprouts, drained and soaked in cold water for 1 hour, or 2 c. fresh
Oriental Dressing (recipe follows)
lettuce (optional)
Preparation

Cook asparagus in boiling water to cover for 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.
In bowl, while warm, combine with well drained bean sprouts.
Add dressing and toss lightly.
Chill well.
Spoon into lettuce lined bowl.
Makes 4 servings.
