Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Melt margarine in 2-quart pan.
Add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Next, add flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir coconut and nuts in last.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
