Sausage Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium green peppers
1 lb. sausage
1 medium apple, peeled and diced
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
8 oz. can tomato sauce with mushrooms
Preparation

Cut top off peppers and scoop out seeds and membranes; cook in boiling salted water until almost tender.
Drain and place in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Meanwhile, panfry sausage; drain.
Stir in apple, bread crumbs and egg.
Fill peppers with sausage mixture; top with tomato sauce.
Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
