Sally Lunn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Combine egg and milk. Cream shortening and sugar together; add flour alternately with liquid mixture.
    Place in greased loaf pan; bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
