Chicken And Dumplins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 fat chicken
water
salt to taste
yellow cake coloring
6 or 8 c. self-rising flour (you can use more depending on how many dumplins you want)
Preparation

You will need a large pan.
Cook chicken until tender.
Remove from bone.
Use plenty of water up over chicken.
Throw away fat and skins.
Put lean chicken back in broth.
In large mixing bowl, place flour.
Stir in broth to make the dough stiff, but good enough to roll out.
Cut dumplins with pie cutter in small squares. Drop a few drops of yellow cake coloring in broth and chicken. Drop dumplins in hot broth.
Cook slow until done.
