Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded American or Cheddar cheese
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (32 oz.) bag frozen loose pack hash browns, thawed
    1 c. crushed corn flakes
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, combine cheese, soup (undiluted), sour cream, onion, 1/4 cup butter, salt and pepper.
    Mix well. Fold in hash browns.
    Turn mixture into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Toss
    together
    corn
    flakes
    and
    1 tablespoon melted butter.
    Sprinkle
    onto
    potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until potatoes are golden brown or until tender.
