Ingredients

1 c. persimmon pulp (do not strain)
1 c. nut meats, chopped
1 c. raisins, chopped
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 egg
Preparation

Dissolve baking soda in persimmon pulp.
Cream the sugar and shortening.
Add nuts, raisins and spices to flour.
Beat egg and add to pulp.
Add to dry ingredients.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
