Nutty Cheese Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. pecans
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. parsley
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 oz. softened cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. pepper sauce
Preparation
    In skillet, melt butter and add pecans.
    Saute over low heat until lightly browned.
    Cool and chop fine.
    Stir in salt and parsley.
    Set aside.
    In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and Cheddar cheese.
    Add milk, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce to cheeses.
    Chill until firm for one hour.
    Roll cheese into log using wax paper.
    Roll in nut mixture.
    Wrap airtight and chill overnight.
    Makes a 7-inch log; serves 4. Serve with fruit, crackers or crudities.
    A sparkling wine of your choice would be a festive touch.
