Lili'S Favorite Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 egg yolks
    2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
    1 tsp. instant coffee powder
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
    1 c. sweet butter, softened
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, beat together sugar, eggs, yolks, chocolate, coffee powder and vanilla; cook, stirring over simmering water, 10 to 15 minutes, or until thickened.
    Cool completely.
    With electric mixer, beat butter until fluffy; gradually beat into it the chocolate mixture.
    Makes 2 cups.
