Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. pickles, sliced thin
    1 onion, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt on pickles, let stand 2 hours, then drain off. mix vinegar and sugar, boil 5 minutes,
    let cool, when cool pour over pickles. Put in boxes.
