Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches celery, chopped up
    4 c. onion, ground up
    4 c. green tomatoes, chopped
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    5 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
    2 3/4 c. chopped red peppers
    1/2 c. salt or less
    6 c. sugar
    4 c. cider vinegar
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix salt and chopped vegetables; let set overnight.
    Drain well.
    Rinse with water.
    Bring rest of ingredients to a boil; simmer 3 minutes, then add vegetables.
    Bring to a boil; simmer 3 minutes.
    Put in hot sterilized jars and seal.
