Shrimp With A Southern Accent - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Minute rice
1 lb. frozen deveined shrimp (uncooked)
1 c. diced bell pepper
1 c. diced onion
1 stick butter
5 medium sized tomatoes or 1 can tomatoes (fresh preferred)
1 tsp. garlic salt
Preparation

Prepare rice as usual.
Place shrimp in boiling water; cook for 5 minutes.
Use large skillet and melt butter at low heat. Combine pepper and onion in skillet with butter.
Cook on low heat until tender.
Cut tomatoes into wedges.
Pour into skillet. Add garlic salt and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add shrimp to sauce. Cook for a further 10 minutes.
Place rice on large platter, making a well in the center.
Place shrimp Creole in center. Serve with salad and garlic bread.
