Patty'S Chinese Chicken And Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 broiler/fryer (about 2 1/2 lb.), cut up
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    2 onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 ripe tomatoes
    1 c. broccoli
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    rice
Preparation
    Spread chicken pieces on waxed paper; brush with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
    Heat oil in a large skillet.
    Add chicken and brown on all sides; drain oil from skillet.
    Add sugar, pepper, celery, onions, broccoli and chicken broth.
    Bring to boiling. Lower heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch and soy sauce in a cup.
    Stir into skillet.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thick and clear.
    Add tomato pieces and cook 1 minute longer.
    Serve over rice.
