Grandma Craine'S Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box lime jello
    1 c. hot water
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. milk
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
    1 small box cottage cheese
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Add hot water to jello and stir until dissolved.
    Add mayonnaise, milk, pineapple, cottage cheese and nuts.
    Top with cherries (just before serving).
    It's best to prepare and refrigerate several hours before serving to let jello congeal.
