Hamburg Pie - cooking recipe

1 lb. hamburg
1/2 c. onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. parsley
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1/4 tsp. oregano
3 eggs
6 slices cheese
crust for double crust 9-inch pie
Preparation

Some people had springs on their farms, and had a spring box which was just a wooden box sitting in the spring to contain foods, such as milk, butter, meats, etc.
If a spring was not on the farm, then many households lowered a bucket into the well to water level and the food items in it.
