1/4 c. warm water
1/2 c. milk, scalded and cooled
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
1 tart apple, peeled and cored thinly sliced apple
Spiced Sugar
1/3 c. raisins

1/3 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
