Tortilla Stackup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 (8-inch) tortillas
3 c. shredded Jack cheese
3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/4 c. sliced green onions
1 c. chopped green chilies (two 4-oz. cans), drained
2 Tbsp. melted butter
garden salsa
sour cream (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Butter 2 (8-inch) round cake pans. Place 1 tortilla in each pan.
Combine cheeses.
Sprinkle 2/3 cup cheese over each tortilla.
Top with generous tablespoon of green onion and chilies.
Repeat until there are 4 layers in each pan. Top with fifth tortilla. (Can be stacked as much as a day ahead and baked before serving.) Bake stacks, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until tops are lightly browned.
Let cool 5 minutes.
Invert serving platter over pan.
Carefully flip and turn stackup onto platter.
Repeat with second pan.
Cut each stack into wedges. Garnish each platter with garden salsa and sour cream.
