Whole Wheat And Carrot Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes yeast
    3 c. whole wheat flour
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. honey
    1 egg
    1 c. grated carrots
    3 1/2 to 4 c. unbleached flour
    1 beaten egg yolk
    2 Tbsp. water
    coarse salt or sesame seed
Preparation
    Combine yeast and whole wheat flour in a large mixing bowl. Combine 2 cups of water, butter and honey in a small saucepan and heat and stir until warm (115\u00b0 to 120\u00b0) and butter is almost melted.
    Pour over flour mixture, add egg and grated carrots. Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 30 seconds, scraping sides of bowl constantly.
    Beat for 3 minutes at high speed.
