Raisin Sandwich Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 lemon (juice and grated rind)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. mayonnaise
    lump of butter
Preparation
    Beat egg slightly and add lemon and sugar.
    Cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.
    Add mayonnaise, raisins and nuts.
    Let cool until thick.
    Add butter.
    Keeps well in refrigerator for weeks.
