Quick Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. beef broth
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Wash green beans; trim ends and remove strings.
    Cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
    Place beans and onion in a 1-quart baking dish. Add broth and pepper. Cover and microwave on High 11 to 13 minutes or until beans are tender, stirring twice.
    Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
    Yields 4 servings.
