Freezer Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium heads cabbage
    1 tsp. salt
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Chop cabbage for cole slaw.
    Sprinkle with salt and let stand 1 hour before squeezing out
    the liquid.
    Add the green pepper and celery.
    Mix the vinegar, water, sugar and celery seed in a saucepan; boil 1 minute. Cool and pour over vegetables. Freeze in plastic containers. Tastes just like fresh cole slaw when thawed.
