Caramel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 cups sugar
    6 eggs yolks
    3 cups Swans Down cake flour, sifted 3 times
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1/8 tsp salt
    1 (8 oz) sour cream
    1 tsp vanilla
    6 egg whites, beaten to soft peaks
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks. Mix dry ingredients together.
    Add to batter alternately with sour cream, mixing well. Add vanilla.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Mix well.
    Pour in 4 prepared round cake pans.
    Bake in preheated 315 degree oven for 15 to 30 minutes or until cake springs back when touched with fingers in center.
