Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soften butter and cream cheese.
    Cream the butter and cheese together, gradually adding sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla, flour and salt.
    Beat until well mixed.
    Pour batter in a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan or 2 loaf pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool on rack.
