Sweet And Sour Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. country spareribs
    1/4 c. peanut or vegetable oil
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper
    1/4 c. crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. pineapple juice
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 medium clove garlic
    1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Heat oil; brown meat.
    Remove and drain.
    Add onion and pepper; cook until tender.
    Add pineapple, pineapple juice, water, vinegar, catsup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and garlic.
    Blend in brown sugar and cornstarch.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat; add meat.
    Cook, uncovered, 1 1/2 hours or until tender, stirring occasionally.
