Freezer Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. peeled, chopped tomatoes
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    4 c. milk
Preparation
    Simmer tomatoes and onion in butter over low heat.
    Put in blender and mix well.
    Pour into container; cool and freeze.
    To make soup, thaw and heat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Heat and serve.
