Seaside Candy Roll - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. pecans
1/2 c. Karo (white)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. margarine
1 tsp. maple flavoring
1 lb. confectioners sugar or 4 1/2 c. sifted sugar
Preparation

Chop 1/2 cup nuts finely and 1/2 c. coarsely.
Mix together margarine, syrup, maple flavoring and salt. Add sugar all at once. Mix thoroughly.
Knead in finely chopped nuts. Shape into two rolls. Brush with syrup and roll in coarsely chopped nuts.
Wrap, chill, slice and serve.
