Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. washed and stemmed blueberries
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs and milk; mix well.
    Blend in flour and baking powder.
    Stir in berries.
    Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
    Pour mixture into pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes, or until done.
    Top with frosting or powdered sugar if desired.
