Pineapple Glazed Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cake as directed
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Bake cake in oblong pan as directed.
    Combine crushed pineapple with 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed).
    Bring to boil.
    With point of sharp knife, mark cake into 1-inch squares, cutting 1/2-inch deep.
    Spoon hot pineapple mixture over hot cake.
    Allow to cool.
    Serve with whipped cream.
