Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. onion flakes or 1/4 c. real onions
    1 Tbsp. chicken soup base (Watkins or packet of instant chicken bouillon)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. water
    2 c. or more chicken, cooked and diced
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. milk
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and carrots
Preparation
    Heat butter over low heat until melted.
    Stir in flour, onions, soup base, salt and pepper until smooth. Add water and milk, stirring constantly.
    Heat to boiling and boil 1 minute while stirring. Stir in chicken and frozen vegetables. Set aside. I usually add 2 to 3 cooked and diced potatoes, also.
