Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. Angostura Bitters
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in skins, slice; dice bacon and fry until brown and crispy.
    Remove; drain on paper towels.
    Saute onion in bacon grease, stir flour into onion mixture.
    Gradually add vinegar, water, salt and pepper; stir constantly to thicken.
    Add bitters, cook until smooth and glossy.
    Add potatoes; heat through.
    Add bacon bits.
    Garnish with parsley.
    Serve warm.
