Tortellini Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
4 garlic cloves
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans chicken broth
1 (9 oz.) pkg. tortellini with cheese
1/4 c. grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Italian stewed tomatoes
1 pkg. frozen spinach
6 fresh basil leaves or 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add garlic; saute 2 minutes.
Stir in broth and tortellini.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Add grated cheese, salt and pepper; simmer until tortellini are tender (about 5 minutes).
Add tomatoes, spinach and cut up fresh basil leaves. Simmer until heated through.
