Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    potatoes, thinly sliced
    carrots, sliced crosswise
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    celery, sliced (optional)
    mushroom, sliced (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 can tomato soup
    1 can water
Preparation
    Layer first 8 ingredients in baking dish (one 8 x 5-inch and one 13 x 9-inch).
    This recipe makes both.
    (May half recipe, if desired.)
    Mix mushroom soup, celery soup, tomato soup and water. Pour over layered dishes.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Turn down to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Top with grated American cheese and return to oven until cheese melts.
