No Cook Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 green and 9 red peppers
    9 carrots
    2 cabbage heads
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 hot pepper
    6 to 9 onions
Preparation
    Chop this all up.
    Put in dishpan.
    Pour 1/2 cup plain salt over this; do not stir.
    Let stand 4 hours.
    Drain all water off. Mix 8 cups sugar and 8 cups vinegar cold; pour over vegetables. Mix up; put in jars.
    Pressure cook at 5 pounds for 5 minutes.
