New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 slices salt pork
4 potatoes
1 small onion
1 pt. clams
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
walnut size butter
Preparation

Fry out bacon or salt pork and add potatoes, cut in small cubes.
Add onion, salt and pepper.
Add clams.
Add water and cover.
Let cook until tender.
Add butter and evaporated milk. Same recipe can be used substituting scallops for clams.
Simmer 10 minutes.
