Ingredients

2 c. cooked beets
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine all of the ingredients except for beets.
Heat the mixture until it boils.
Pour this mixture over the sliced beets; let stand 6 hours.
