Nancy'S Italian Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 1 c. water
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 medium bell pepper, sliced
    1 pt. mushrooms, sliced
    1 pkg. cut okra
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    5 cloves garlic, sliced
    garlic powder
    pepper
Preparation
    In large saucepan combine all liquid ingredients except water. Thin sauce with water to your liking.
    Add garlic cloves and powder and pepper; cook on low heat 15 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and let stew for about 1 hour.
    Serve over rice.
