Persimmon Pudding(Heirloom) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. strained persimmons
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. sweet milk
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. flour
    1 large sweet potato
    1 level tsp. soda
Preparation
    Stir soda into buttermilk before adding to pudding mix.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
