Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. oil
    1 c. creamed corn
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 can chopped green chilies
    1 c. Cheddar or Longhorn
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, buttermilk and oil.
    Add creamed corn, soda, salt and eggs.
    Pour half of cornbread in an 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Put chopped green chilies and 1/2 cheese over cornbread.
    Top with remaining cornmeal mixture.
    Add remaining cheese to second cornmeal layer.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
